Bekah Vigil

Bekah Vigil first served with our ministry in 2023 as the first student intern we hosted, and from the beginning it was clear that God was doing something special in her heart. During that first season, Bekah quickly fell in love not only with the ministry itself but with the people of Guatemala. What began as a short-term internship soon grew into a deep, ongoing commitment to serve.

Since then, Bekah has faithfully returned to Guatemala for extended periods each year, continuing to invest in relationships and ministry opportunities. Her consistency, compassion, and willingness to serve wherever needed have made her a meaningful part of what God is doing here.

In 2024, as soon as our Child Sponsorship Program launched, Bekah became our very first Child Sponsor. Through her personal involvement in the program, she developed an even deeper understanding of how sponsorship transforms the lives of children and strengthens entire families. With her growing passion for the program and love for the children, she naturally transitioned into serving as our Child Sponsorship Assistant.

In her current role, Bekah helps advocate for the children in our program, supports field operations, and works to promote the sponsorship ministry to new partners. Her heart for the children, combined with her firsthand experience in the field, allows her to serve as a bridge between sponsors and the lives they are impacting.

We are grateful for Bekah’s faithfulness, her love for the people here, and the way she continues to say “yes” to where God leads.
