Wonderfully written in pages of Ecclesiastes we find some encouraging words of wisdom. Found in Chapter 3 Verse 11, Solomon tells us that everything has a time, essentially a place for the when’s and why’s of life. Following a pretty grime outlook on life in generally, he reminds us that God has made everything beautiful in it‘s own time.
Often times we go looking for satisfaction and fulfillment in all of the wrong places. The wisest man to ever have lived says that is a futile way to live. Everything we know is temporary, therefore it has an expiration date leaving a void of where we once found a quench.
God wants us to experience the ‘now’ with Him. The looking back or looking forward causes that ‘now’ to be lost forever because it is no longer here but there.
There is a time for everything, just not everything at one time.
Enjoy the beauty of today... enjoy the now.
